  • The Personnel/Search committee is excited to announce the naming of an Interim Executive Presbyter. The Rev. Dr. D’Ann (Dee) Cooper will be joining us in Heartland in late October. Originally from Texas, Dee received both her B.B.A. in finance, and an M.Ed. in Psychology/Higher Education Administration from Texas Tech University. She received her Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and her Doctorate from San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Dee has served Presbyterian congregations in Lowell, MA; Wichita, KS; Los Angeles, CA; and Evergreen, CO. Dee’s most recent call was as the Interim Co-Lead Pastor at Montview Boulevard             Presbyterian Church, in Denver, CO.
Dee is a licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist Fellow and a Certified Big Life Coach. During her time in Colorado, Dee led workshops for the care providers at Buckley Air Force Base.
She has climbed Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu’s Inca trail and walked over 100 miles for Breast Cancer research. Dee is excited about the opportunity to journey with Heartland Presbytery.
We will announce the date and time for a meet and greet called presbytery meeting with Dee as soon as we know her arrival to the area.  I want to express my profound gratitude to all the              members of the Personnel/Search Committee who worked tirelessly over the last fourteen months.
